Climate Change should be an Election Priority

As Al Gore's documentary An Inconvenient Truth demonstrated, we don'thave time to waste when it comes to dealing with global warming. The planet is getting warmer (and dirtier) due to polluting gases like CO2 and methane, and there's nothing political about that.

We need to start promoting change. America has the capability to deal with this crisis and we can set an example for the restof the world. The next generation of clean energy is available and it will create more jobs and preserve the environment for futuregenerations. But we need strong leadership to take hold of it. As the 2008 elections approach, let's urge the candidates to begin emphasizing the environment and clean energy. Americans have had enough of the pollution and high cost of foreign oil. We want change, but we'll need politicians who are willing to serve the people and not the lobbyists.

Urge the Presidential Candidates
